Osho was originally known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh untill he was re-branded. He became well known amongst young people in the west from the 70's. The authorities and the mass media (fancy that) obsessed on his approach to sexuality (which says more about them than osho) and the corruption of young people. He died in 1990 and the influence of his teachings continues to spread to seekers of all ages in virttually every country in the world. He is easy to read and without doubt one of the true philosophers of the 20th century. |
